Roscrea's Damer House Gallery invite artists to Homeland 2025 exhibition

The Homeland series of exhibitions has seen links grow between Roscrea and Barcelona

Roscrea's Damer House Gallery are delighted to invite artists to participate and showcase your contemporary video/film art at their next Homland Exhibition.

"Our focus is to show a selection of National and International film and video artworks for the duration of two weeks in
Damer House Gallery in September 2025, Culture Night and mid-November at the Loop Festival Barcelona 2025", the organisers told the Tribune this week.

"This year we will select three to five Irish/International artists and invite one artist from Barcelona. We are looking for a written proposal (approximate 550 Words) along with four stills.

"The last day for receiving your written proposal and stills is Friday 09/05/2025 by 5pm sharp. The film length should be under 9 minutes no longer than 10 Minutes. Please submit by email to homeland.projection@gmail.com or by Post: Therry Rudin, Silverbarn Studios, Ballybritt, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary, E34XW71.

This year's selectors are independent curators, Àngel Garcia, Natalia Foguet, Barcelona and Educator Bernadette Burns from the Sherkin Island off West Cork.

The project managers are Therry Rudin and Jennie Doherty, Pre-Selectors along with Kate Walsh, art-historian, Joel Kobel, Board of Directors Damer House Gallery and their young guest pre-selector, Filmmaker Cormac Doherty from Dublin.
