Road near Borrisokane is so bad ‘it’s nearly impassable’

Cllr Ger Darcy

Cllr Ger Darcy, Cathaoirleach of Tipperary County Council, has raised the issue of a road near Borrisokane several times during Council meetings. He said it's so bad that normal cars can't drive it.

A road near Borrisokane is in such a bad condition “it’s nearly impassable”, a councillor told a recent meeting of Nenagh Municipal District.
Cllr Ger Darcy said he gets a lot of complaints about the road, which has been in a terrible condition for years.
The road is known locally as the Feigh Bog Road and it starts at the first righthand turn as you are driving from Borrisokane towards Portumna. It links up with the Aglish / Ballingarry road.
