Met Eireann forecasting change in the weather for Ireland this week
The weather in Ireland is set to change this week with Met Eireann forecasting unsettled weather with rain or showers at times and with temperatures in the mid to high teens.
According to the latest Met Eireann weather forecast for Ireland, Monday morning will be dry at first with cloud increasing from the west. Rain will develop in the west by early afternoon and will spread eastwards turning heavy at times. It will brighten up in the west during the evening. Highest temperatures of 19 to 23 degrees with moderate to fresh southerly winds.
On Monday night, rain will clear to the east with scattered showers following from the west, some heavy, Lowest temperatures of 12 to 14 degrees in mostly moderate southerly winds, fresh to strong near Atlantic coasts.
According to the latest Met Eireann weather forecast for Ireland, Tuesday will be breezy with a mix of sunshine and scattered showers, some of them heavy. A bit cooler than previous days with highest temperatures of 16 to 19 degrees. Moderate to fresh and gusty southwest winds, will ease later in the day. On Tuesday night, persistent or heavy rain will develop in the southwest and will spread to most areas overnight. Lowest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees with mostly light variable winds.
According to the latest Met Eireann weather forecast for Ireland, on Wednesday morning, rain will clear quickly eastwards on Wednesday with a mix of sunny spells and showers following. Some of the showers could be heavy. Highest temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees in mostly moderate southwest winds, fresh to strong at times near Atlantic coasts.
On Thursday, heavy showers or longer spells of ran will move eastwards over Ireland, mostly clearing on Thursday night. Highest temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees with moderate southwest winds.
Friday and next weekend will continue unsettled with rain or showers at times with temperatures of around 15 to 19 degrees and mostly moderate to fish westerly winds.
