Roscrea's Age Friendly group choir, The  Rosie Greys and the their Ukulele Group combined forces during the summer as part of a Creative Ireland Project and last week performed for residents living in the Racket Hall emergency accommodation centre.

. The aim of the project was to encourage people to gain confidence in their music and performance skills to come together for  a performance.

The groups have worked hard, practicing weekly and broadened their repertoire to try and take in all tastes.

Earlier in the summer they had a lively performance with a visiting group of young people from Texas, who came to Roscrea on a summer camp with the Christian Oasis Centre.
