The Midlands is in mourning after the tragic death of Kilbeggan racecourse manager Paddy Dunican.
Dunican, from the Square, Kilbeggan, Co Westmeath, died suddenly on Saturday, April 6.
He is predeceased by his parents, Paul and Crissie.
His RIP.ie notice says he will be "fondly remembered by his siblings, Rosemary, Gemma, Grainne, Nicholas, Peter, Aoife, his nieces; nephews, relatives, colleagues and his many friends."
Tributes from family and friends, particularly from the racing world, have been flooding in for the hugely popular figure in the sport of horse racing.
"I am so sorry to hear of your passing. You were such a lovely person and such great company. RIP Sending condolences to your family and friends," one tribute read.
Another added: "Sympathy to the Dunican family on the very sad passing of your brother Paddy. Thinking of you all at this heartbreaking time. He was a lovely kind gentleman. May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace."
A third person said: "Deepest sympathy to Rosemary, Gemma, Grainne, Aoife, Nicholas and Peter and the extended Dunican family on Paddy's sudden passing. May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace."
Funeral details have not yet been released.
