CHRISTMAS gifts from Ireland which will change the lives of farmers in Kosovo left from Roscrea recently.

On Tuesday, November 14th, Bóthar hosted donor farmers from around the country in Roscrea mart as 34 in-calf heifers were sent to Kosovo.

The heifers will be with their new families in time for Christmas and their journey can be followed on Bóthar’s social media accounts.

“This work is only made possible through the support of the organisation's donors. Bóthar remains extremely grateful to its supporters for the opportunity to facilitate the life-changing, 32-year mission of Bóthar”, the group said in Roscrea
