The change in speed limits on roads across Offaly and Ireland earlier this year has caused no end of confusion and has probably also led to plenty of penalty points and fines. It can be very difficult to tell what the speed limit is now on a road and with many signposts hidden or difficult to spot, and Google Maps yet to catch up with the changes, sometimes it can be a guessing game.
