Man charged with assault and criminal damage in Offaly may have left the country
A man charged with assault and criminal damage is out of the jurisdiction Sgt James O’Sullivan told Judge Catherine Staines at a recent sitting of Tullamore District Court.
Robin Ayre (55) with an address in temporary hotel accommodation is alleged to have assaulted a woman at an address at Coolagary, Walsh Island. He is also charged with damaging glass doors. various plant pots, lamps and tables in the hallway of the same address.
Sgt James O’Sullivan told Judge Staines the defendant may be gone back to Scotland. Judge Staines adjourned the case to June 8, 2022 if he does come back.
