Gardai have urged residents in South Offaly to keep a look out for a group of men acting suspiciously in the area.
The four men were travelling in an Audi A4 and were involved in a burglary in Roscrea on Saturday morning.
Residents in that area and over the border in Offaly have been put on alert.
People are being asked to report any sightings to their local Garda Station.
