Tree down in Offaly as thousands head to National Ploughing Championships
Motorists are being urged to exercise caution in Offaly after reports of a tree down in the county.
The tree has come down on the road between Cadamstown and Kinnity near Coolacrease.
The incident comes as thousands of people make their way to the National Ploughing Championships in Screggan, near Tullamore.
Motorists are being told to slow down on all routes as similar incidents may occur.
The Ploughing Championships go ahead today at the later time of 11am.
