Met Éireann hit Offaly with Status Yellow weather warning until Wednesday

Met Éireann has once again issued as weather warning for Offaly and the rest of the counties in Leinster.

The Status Yellow snow-ice warning forecasts deep lying snow in places continuing to thaw, with the ongoing potential for localised flooding. 

The national forecaster is also predicting frost and icy conditions overnight on Tuesday.

The warning was issued on Tuesday and is valid until 10am on Wednesday morning.
