Offaly County Council have announced a restriction of services for a number of areas in the North of the county this Sunday evening.
"Due to a significant leak which is draining the reservoir at Frewin Hill, Irish Water have decided that it will be necessary to restrict flow to the Ballinagore, Kilbeggan, Horseleap and Streamstown areas from 6pm this evening until 8am on Monday, they wrote.
Residents are being asked for patience and both Irish Water and OCC have apologised for the inconvenience caused.
