A number of Offaly roads remain impassable but progress being made

A number of Offaly roads remain impassable but progress being made

Offaly County Council has given an update of the current conditions of roads in the county and of works ongoing across the county. 

Offaly County Council also hopes to have most of its main Priority 1, 2 and 3 roads clear by this evening or tomorrow, weather dependent.

Tullamore Municipal District
Tullamore Town - Roads Clear, clean up operations and clearing of footpaths ongoing; Traffic very heavy

N52 Tullamore to Kilbeggan  - Clear
N52 Tullamore By Pass to Blueball  - Clear
N80 Charleville Roundabout through Killeigh onto County Boundary - Clear
R420 Bachelors Walk through Cloncollig Roundabout to Ballina - Clear
