Offaly County Council says it could be Wednesday before all roads are cleared
Offaly County Council is drafting in private companies to help clear roads across the county after the network was devastated by Storm Emma, RTE reports.
Offaly County Council have been treating primary routes since early on Friday morning and will not move onto secondary roads until they are clear.

The council are saying that it could be Tuesday or Wednesday before all local routes are cleared of snow and ice. More snow is on the way Friday night, further complicting relief efforts.
