A whole 'Lotto' love for Offaly woman who was gifted winning lottery ticket for Valentine’s Day

The woman's romantic husband gave her the winning ticket worth over €57,000 as a Valentine's Day present

Mystery surrounds latest Lotto winner

One very lucky wife from Offaly cashed in on a romantic Valentine’s Day gesture when she collected a Lotto Match 5 + Bonus prize of €57,209 from Valentine's Day in National Lottery JQ today.

Her loving husband gifted her the winning ticket on Valentine’s night after he realised he had five numbers plus the bonus.

The gobsmacked mother revealed, “On Valentine’s night, my husband bound through the door proclaiming that he had got me the best Valentine’s Day gift ever. In my own head I was thinking that this better be good and then he hands me this Lotto ticket. I hadn’t a clue what he was up to! There was great celebrations once I finally copped that it was a winning ticket. This prize will mean a lot to our family,” she said.

The winning Quick Pick ticket was bought at Horan’s Daybreak in Birr in Co. Offaly on February 13.
