Tullamore Daffodil Day committee to launch event at coffee morning

Event to take place in Jenny's Kitchen in the Bridge Centre this Friday morning from 10am onwards

Offaly locals urging community to 'Go all in against cancer this Daffodil Day'

JENNY'S Kitchen in the Bridge Centre in Tullamore is kindly hosting a coffee morning on Friday., March 13, between 10am and 1pm, to launch the local committee's Daffodil Day campaign.

This year's national collection day will take place on the following Friday, March 20.

The launch will be a good opportunity to meet members of the local committee and to get information on Daffodil Day and the Irish cancer Society.

Sara Valarie from the society will speak at 11am on the various services available and the importance of funds collected on Daffodil Day.

The committee will be distributing daffodil boxes to business throughout the area.

Collectors will be in attendance at GVM Mart on Thursday, March 12 and the men's committee will donate the proceeds of their weekend competition on March 21 and 22 to Daffodil Day.
