Man fined at Tullamore District Court

A FINE of €250 for a public order offence was imposed on a man in his absence at Tullamore District Court.

Garda Aaron Sheerin said that a call was received on April 14 last year at 4.40pm in relation to a male who was intoxicated and falling over at Axis Business Park, Clara Road, Tullamore.

An ambulance was called but the man refused to get into it and he then fell on the public road and was arrested.

A fixed charge notice was issued to the accused, Marcin Kot (41), Clonminch Wood, Tullamore, but it was unpaid, Garda Sheerin said.

A man with no previous convictions, he was summonsed for public drunkenness and Judge Andrew Cody convicted him of that offence.
