THE Ladies Choir from Tullamore Stage School travelled to the North Wales Choral Festival at the weekend and claimed first prize in the Open category.

What an achievement for the choir, which was formed in September 2022 by its director Regina McCarthy, to provide an opportunity for the ladies of Tullamore and surrounding areas to come together and sing.
