Guilty plea entered at Tullamore Circuit Court

A MAN pleaded guilty last week to committing a violent disorder offence in Edenderry more than a year ago.

Joseph Mulligan (35), Ballygarret, Clonbullogue was arraigned at Tullamore Circuit Court on a charge of violent disorder at O'Connell Square in Edenderry on December 8, 2024.

After he entered a guilty plea Judge Keenan Johnson was told that he had no previous convictions and a probation report would be required before sentencing.

Judge Johnson remanded Mr Mulligan on continuing bail to appear in court again on April 14 next for a sentencing hearing.

The judge also directed the preparation of a probation report.
