Tractor run and Christmas market to aid St Vincent de Paul in Offaly parish

St Vincent de Paul Clara, Horseleap and Streamstown are hosting their second annual Tractor Run on Sunday, December 7

TRACTOR RUN

St Vincent de Paul Clara, Horseleap and Streamstown are hosting their second annual Tractor Run on Sunday, December 7.

They are aiming to build on last year's success which had over 60 tractors running on the day. Participants will be gathering at Paddy Ryan's in Horseleap at 11.30 am to begin the run. The cost of entering a tractor is €40.

The aim of this event is to raise critical funds so we can continue to help some of the most vulnerable people in our communities.

SVP is Irelands largest voluntary charitable organisation, committed to alleviating poverty and promoting social justice. Every euro raised will go directly towards providing essential assistance such as food, energy support, education grants, and emergency aid for those most vulnerable in our community.

You can donate to this via the QR code on the posters dotted in your community. Your kind and generous support is greatly appreciated.

Also, on Sunday, December 7, SVP will be hosting the Clara Christmas Market in the scout’s den from 1 – 5pm. This event is kindly supported by the Clara Resource Centre.

There will be a wide variety of stalls on show offering some beautiful arts, crafts, and all things Christmas. Santa will also be in attendance to meet the children from 4pm. Come along and enjoy what promises to be an exciting event.
