CLICK ON THE ARROWS ABOVE TO GO THROUGH THE FULL TEAM 1: Goalkeeper – Eamon Cleary (Shinrone)One of the tightest calls of them all was between Shinrone's Eamon Cleary and Kilcormac-Killoughey's Conor Slevin. Both were outstanding with almost nothing separating them. Their puckouts were excellent and their ability to convert long range frees was a huge asset to their side. Cleary edges it by a whisker and his frees and a super first half save helped Shinrone survive a teak tough quarter-final battle with Coolderry.

CLICK ON THE ARROWS ABOVE TO GO THROUGH THE FULL TEAM 2: Right corner back – Brecon Kavanagh (Kilcormac-Killoughey)Brecon Kavanagh wasn't at his very best this year but that is judging him by a different standard to most other players and he is well worth his place on this selection. One of Kilcormac-Killoughey's unsung heroes, his ability to be in the right place at the right time, to just do his job, commands complete respect and he deserves to be on this team. Belmont's Darragh Flynn was a real option for here as he impressed with some very efficient defensive displays.

CLICK ON THE ARROWS ABOVE TO GO THROUGH THE FULL TEAM 3: Full back – Jordan Quinn (Kilcormac-Killoughey)With Oisin Mahon not making it back from injury, Jordan Quinn was pressed into service at full back. It may not be his most natural position and he may be more comfortable on the half back line but Quinn still did a huge body of work. Composed, rock solid, physical and a leader, he had some excellent games and gets in ahead of Ballinamere powerhouse Ciaran Burke.

4: Left corner back – James Mahon (Kilcormac-Killoughey)James Mahon improved steadily as the year went on and scarcely put a foot wrong in the Kilcormac-Killoughey defence. A very tidy hurler, who generally gets the job done. Tullamore's Michael Feeney was considered for a defensive role as he was regularly detailed to mark the opposition's danger forward and did very well.
