'You'll always find people from Offaly' - Fans support Shane Lowry at India Open

Shane Lowry is currently just one shot off the lead the the DP World India Championship in Delhi but despite being over 7,000 kilometres from Offaly, he is still getting support from the county. 

After completing his second round, Shane shared the picture above taken at Delhi Golf Club. 

He posted it with the message: "Am fortunate to travel the world and feel the support from fans but it’s when you least expect it when it means the most. The Arora family flew in from Bangalore to watch me play in India today. No matter where you go you’ll always find people from Offaly. ☘️"

Now we will be honest here and say that while we thought the green jersey was from a club in Offaly, we couldn't quite place it. 

Thankfully Banagher United solved the problem for us as they shared the post with the message, "Great picture! Lovely to see a Banagher United AFC shirt being worn around the world "

Shane will be back on course in India tomorrow morning and you never know how many more Offaly people might show up to support him as the Offaly jersey is known to turn up in the strangest of places....
