Soccer club in Offaly given green light for major development works
A soccer club in Offaly has been given green light for major development works at its grounds.
Clara Town Football Club has been given the green light by Offaly County Council for the installation of a 66 x 96 metre astro turf pitch and a 750 metre long walking track.
The plans also include a 1.2 metre high galvanised fence and an LED Flood light system to both the walking track and pitch.
Offaly County Council has granted permission with ten conditions attached.
Included in the conditions is a stipulation that the flood lights cannot be used past 9.30pm and that conditions around the lighting itself and a stipulation regarding landscaping on the site.
