Historic building in centre of Tullamore for sale amid stunning plans for transformation
A historic building in the centre of Tullamore is for sale with stunning plans for its transformation revealed.
The Mill is located on Main Street in Tullamore at the entrance road to the Bridge Centre and is a landmark building in the town.
However the historic former Grain Mill Distillery has laid idle for many years and is in need of complete redevelopment.
To that end, it is for sale with full planning permission with the sellers saying it is 'ready to be transformed'
The approved plans envision a stunning three-storey building featuring 'vibrant retail spaces' at ground level and spacious one and two-bedroom apartments above.
The property is described 'a rare chance to breathe new life into a site rich with character and potential'.
In total the plans are for four retail units and a total of 18 apartments over three floors.
The large property is on the market for €950,000.
