A young Offaly star has been chosen as the Electric Ireland Minor Championships Player of the Week after a brilliant performance in Leinster Final. 

In a public vote, Dylan Dunne was the clear winner taking 65.4% of the overall vote ahead or Ciaran McCrystal of Tyrone and Paul Rodgers of Clare. 

Dunne was instrumental in Offaly's dramatic come from behind win over Louth in Newbridge. 

Offaly are out next in the quarter-final of the All-Ireland Series against Mayo in Roscommon on
