FIXTURE details have been released for Offaly's eagerly awaited All-Ireland Minor Football Championship quarter-final against Mayo.

It will take place on Sunday, June 8 in Dr Hyde Park, Roscommon at 3pm. There had been speculation that it would be a double bill with the quarter-final between Roscommon and Louth in Longford on the Saturday but by the weekend, it was clear that this would not happen.

There will be great interest in Offaly in the quarter-final against Connacht runners up, Mayo. This young group of footballers have captured the hearts of supporters as they have recovered from a poor start to the year, showing great character to win their big knockout games against Laois, Wicklow, Meath, Kildare and Louth.
