Joanne Cushen sponsored by Dan & Molly's

Hi, my name is Joanne and I’m from Ballyboy. I’m 20 and currently studying Sports Science and Exercise Physiology at TUS Midlands, with plans to move into Sports Therapy and eventually an MSc in Physiotherapy. I work part-time with Offaly Sports Partnership, running school and inclusion programs for kids. I’m a newly qualified Orthopedic Sports Massage Therapist and hope to open my own clinic soon. I play camogie for Drumcullen, coach strength and conditioning with Kinnitty Camogie, and coach U12s and Mothers & Others with Kilcormac Killoughey LGFA. Sport has always been a huge part of my life. Recently, I ran 48km in December and raised over €3,000 for the Irish Heart Foundation in memory of my late uncle. I’m passionate about helping people move better and making a real impact in my community.
