Two major roads in Offaly are closed this morning due to fallen trees after Storm Eowyn.

According to Offaly County Council, the N52 at Durrow is impassable due to a tree down.

The R420 between Tullamore and Clara is also blocked by a tree down.

A number of areas around Offaly are without power and impacted by fallen trees.

A Status Red Weather Warning for Offaly remains in place until 11am. Offaly will then be covered by a Status Orange Warning until noon and then a Status Yellow Warning until 4pm.
