Dereliction order issued from County Council for neglected former Clara home with hole in roof

A vesting order has been issued by Offaly County Council to the owners of a derelict site in Clara.

The site, a boarded up home with a hole in the roof, has been derelict for some time, having been added to the derelict sites register in October 2011.

The small two-storey house is located at 118 Lakeview in Clara.

According to the vesting order issued in early October, Offaly County Council is set to take ownership of the property from previous owners Joe and Sarah Walsh.

The property was listed on an Offaly County derelict sites register with an estimated value of €40,000 in January.
