Committee member Brendan Higgins and John Standish (Chairman) presented a cheque for €10,000 to John Leahy and to Michael Dennedy of the “We’re doing it for Dennedy Fund”.
BRERETON'S Bar Annual Tractor Run held their presentation night on August 17th in Breretons Bar.
The organising committee of Brereton's Tractor Run, which was held earlier in the year, distributed the takings from that run to three charity organisations.
The two main beneficiaries on the night were Offaly Down Syndrome, receiving a cheque for €12,000, and We're Doing it for Dennedy, receiving a cheque for €10,000. There was also a donation made on the night to Embrace Farm. A great night was had by all.
They thank all their sponsors, entrants, volunteers, musicians, neighbours and Frank and his staff from Brereton's Bar for the massive effort made this year.
Roll on June 29th 2025 for next year's Tractor Run.
