Organic veggie farm seeks permission to expand in Tullamore

A farming business is seeking planning permission to expand their operation with an organic vegetable development in Offaly. 

Mooney's Organics Lough Boora Farm has announced their intention to apply for permission to develop a site at Leabeg. 

Their produce is sold wholesale and direct to customers in weekly house box deliveries and at local markets. 

If granted, the development at Leabeg will include the construction of two organic growing polytunnel units, rainwater harvesting system, a new entrance and ancillary works. 

The planning application may be inspected or purchased at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy at the offices of the planning authority during its public opening hours. 

Observations in relation to the application can be made in writing to the planning authority upon payment of €20 within 5 weeks from the date the authority receive the application.
