Vacancies for three civilian jobs have opened up with An Garda Síochána.
Interested partieAll the roless are encouraged to apply for the roles of Internal Auditor, Professional Accountant, and Data Engineer, all of which will be based out of locations in Dublin.
To successfully perform in the roles, candidates must possess a combination of skills, expertise and qualifications in the relevant areas.
The Internal Auditor (Higher Executive Officer level) role within the Garda Internal Audit Service is a specialised one; they carry out audit work as specified by line managers in delivering the annual audit plan and in evaluating the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and internal controls within An Garda Síochána.
A qualification in an audit-related area (minimum Level 7 NFQ) and at least four years of directly relevant audit experience is required, or a qualification in a data analysis related area (minimum Level 7 NFQ) and four years experience.
The role is based out of Capel Street, Dublin 1 and the salary starts from €56,556.

The second opening is for Professional Accountant Grade 2, with the successful candidate based out of Phoenix Park in Dublin 8.
Candidates must possess a professional accountancy qualification, be a member of a recognised body of accountants, and have at least two years of relevant post-qualification experience.
They must also have excellent working knowledge of integrated Financial Management Systems and Microsoft Excel.
The salary starts from €71,793.

The final opening is for Data Engineer (Assistant Principal Officer), with candidates expected to have a qualification at minimum Level 8 in the NFQ (Honours Bachelor's Degree level) in a related discipline.
It is also essential to have at least 3 years experience working in a Data Engineer role, with proven hands-on experience with Big Data platforms, Python and Spark frameworks, and experience in technical management or a leadership role.
The starting salary is €78,303.
