Veteran Independent councillor Sean O'Brien was elected to Offaly County Council for a fourth time on Sunday. Having been elected for Labour in 2004, he lost his seat in 2009 but he bounced back in 2014 securing a seat as an Independent. He held that seat in 2019 and did so again this time around. The Tullamore native is a full time public representative and was elected on the fourth count.
