Who are the teams Offaly can draw in the group stages of the Tailteann Cup

Following their heavy defeat to Dublin in the Leinster Senior Football Championship semi-final, Offaly will once again play in the second tier Tailteann Cup this year.

While Offaly have a poor record in the second tier competitions, manager Declan Kelly has said that Offaly has to engage and embrace whatever competition they end up in and that was what his aim will be this year.

The draws for the the group stages of the Sam Maguire and Tailteann Cups will take place on Tuesday, April 30 at 3pm and will be broadcast live on www.GAA.ie (GAANOW) and on the official GAA social media channels

In the Tailteann Cup, the 16 participating counties will be drawn into four separate groups. Each group will feature four teams (each group consisting of a 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th seed). New York will enter the Tailteann Cup at the Preliminary Quarter-Final stage.

2024 Tailteann Cup

First seeds: Down, Fermanagh, Kildare, Sligo.

Second seeds: Antrim, Offaly, Laois, Leitrim.

Third seeds: Limerick, Wicklow, Wexford, Longford.

Fourth seeds: Carlow, Tipperary, London, Waterford.
