Roscrea Tidy Towns joined by new residents of Racket Hall

Over 140kg of litter was picked from the streets and approach roads in Roscrea

Many hands make light work and Roscrea Tidy Towns were joined by some of Roscrea's new residents who are living in the international protection centre in Racket Hall.

"We were delighted to be joined by a group of international protection applicants from Racket Hall last Saturday.

"Unfortunately, their first job with us was to pick litter! Over 140Kg was collected. Many thanks to all our volunteers for the hard work", Roscrea Tidy Towns said.

Roscrea Tidy Towns are always seeking new members and anybody who can lend a hand. The group have a facebook page where they announce any upcoming litter picks and invitations to pitch in the work that helps your local community.
