Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing a missing boy who is known to visit Offaly.
Gardaí have issued a Missing Person Appeal for Jamie Murphy, 16, from Tallaght, Dublin 24.
They are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 16 year old Jamie who has been missing from the Tallaght area since Tuesday, July 25.
Jamie is described as being approximately 5 foot 10 inches in height with a slim build and short brown hair.
When last seen, Jamie was wearing a grey tracksuit with black runners.
"Jamie is known to frequent the Offaly area," the Garda Press Office has stated.
Anyone with information on Jamie's whereabouts is asked to contact Tallaght Garda station on 01 666 6000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
