Deputy Barry Cowen with CEO Fran Egan
Clara based firm Europharma Concepts has been officially relaunched to Innov8 LABS by local Fianna Fáil TD, Barry Cowen.
The firm plans to create 60 new jobs in the coming two years as it develops new products.
The company originally produced oral healthcare products. In recent years it has broadened its range to include medical devices and cosmetics.
Deputy Cowen said: "I’ve witnessed at close quarters the birth and development of the company. Innov8 LABS innovation and science based approach continues to collaborate with Enterprise Ireland and various Technical Universities steadily establishing itself as a leading manufacturer and exporter of quality products in its field. I understand the company plans to grow its workforce from 105 to 165 over next two years as they develop new products.
"The company is now embedded in our local community offering jobs, relevant training and development to its employees. That community, county and region that I represent congratulate and thank the workforce, management and board of directors for that economic and social contribution to the area.''
The local Fianna Fáil TD concluded by providing assurances that the company will receive the continued support of Enterprise Ireland and wished the company continued success in its future endeavours.''
