Shane is in a good position five holes of his second round to complete after play was suspended on Friday evening after strong winds brought down three trees at the course.
After an opening round of four under par, Shane was level par through 13 holes of his second round in at times difficult conditions.
Shane Lowry is currently in a tie for tenth place but is eight shots behind leader Brooks Kopeka who benefitted from the best of the conditions on Friday, John Rahm is currently in second on nine under with nine holes of his second round to go.
Play is due to resume in Augusta this afternoon with the remaining second rounds to be completed.
