Shane Lowry has posted a sweet photograph of himself and his daughter Iris as he teaches her the art of golf.

The Offaly golfer posted the sweet picture just days after his Top 10 finish at the Valspar Championship on the PGA Tour.

The image shows Shane on one knee watching his daughter's swing with the Clara man claiming she is "hooked" on the sport.

His post read: "Coach and Daddy. Safe to say my eldest Iris is hooked."

Fans were quick to react to the picture with one writing, "how lovely is this to watch, treasured memories, Shane."

A second said: "Family time together is priceless. Great to see both having a great time, judging by the photo there won't be much coaching needed with that swing."
