BROSNA Gaels marked a proud occasion recently as players, families and supporters gathered in the Grand Hotel in Moate for their presentation night.

The Junior A hurling team were out in force to receive their medals following their memorable 2025 championship victory, with thanks to John Troy doing the honours in presenting the medals and also thanks to Pat Phelan who guided proceedings as MC, keeping the night running smoothly.

Individual awards were also celebrated, with Keith Lawler named Player of the Year, James Langan receiving Most Improved Player of the year, and Alec Mooney honoured as Junior C Player of the Year.

A special moment of the evening came with the presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award to Sean Hackett, recognising his long-standing dedication to Brosna Gaels.

Thanks were extended to the Grand Hotel Moate and its staff for the excellent meal, service and venue, which set the tone for a warm and enjoyable night. The Eden band kept the atmosphere lively, and the dancing carried on well into the night as the Brosna Gaels community celebrated a successful year both on and off the field.
