Someone in Offaly is a lot richer this week after buying a huge winning scratch card in a busy shop.

Darcy's Gala in Mount Lucas is busy with locals and commuters alike as it is the main stop between Daingean and Edenderry.

Gala Retail posted on Tuesday: "Big congratulations to the winner of the €150,000 scratch card prize! Your luck is shining bright. And let's give a round of applause to Darcy's Gala in Mountlucas, Dainegan, Co. Offaly for selling the winning ticket! Thank you for making dreams come true."
