DIRECTIONS are awaited from the DPP in relation to a teenager accused of committing a drugs offence in Tullamore.

Jordan Hyland (18), Church View, Tullamore, is alleged to have possessed cocaine, and possessed cocaine for sale or supply to others, on April 18 last at the R420 road, Cloncollig.

Mr Hyland is further accused of possessing cannabis.

The matter was put back to September 9 and when it came before Judge Andrew Cody on that date he remanded Mr Hyland on bail again to October 21 next for directions from the DPP.

Judge Cody ordered that disclosure of evidence be made to defending solicitor Aisling Maloney within three weeks.
