Bikers sought to escort woman on her final journey in Offaly
The late Maricica Maicariu was passionate about bikers and will be honoured on journey from Tullamore to Killeigh
AN appeal has been issued for bikers to accompany a hearse bearing the remains of a woman who was passionate about bikes.
Bogdan Maicariu has posted in the Bikers in Ireland Facebook page a request for bikers to accompany the remains of his late mother, Maricica to her Funeral Mass in St Patrick's Church in Killeigh on Friday afternoon.
Bogdan writes: "Dear bikers, I'm a biker myself and it's hard for me to write these words, my mother was passionate about motorcycles.
I am looking for a few of us who could accompany a hearse from Tullamore to Killeigh, where she will be laid to rest.
She would love to be surrounded by something she enjoyed on her final journey.
