Irish country music legend to play special birthday concert in Tullamore
ONE of Ireland's most popular country singers Shawn Cuddy is hosting a celebratory birthday concert at the Tullamore Court Hotel, Tullamore on Monday, May 20 and what a night it is set to be.
There are a host of special guests including Declan Nerney, Paddy O'Brien, Kathy Durkin and Michael Collin all set to appear with backing on the night by the multi award winning Keltic Storm band.
Shawn, who is originally from Camross in Laois, and now residing in Donegal with his wife and children, has enjoyed a glittering career that spans almost four decades playing to packed houses all over the UK and Ireland, winning many awards and accolades along the way.
Some of Shawn's hit songs include "Story for my Daddy”, “Patches in Heaven” and “the Merry Go Round" which he will perform along with many more at the upcoming show.
Show promoter James McGarrity from JMG Music Group said "Shawn is a very popular act not only here in Ireland but indeed all over the UK. We did a show in Tullamore with Shawn in 2023 which was a great success and this is another great chance to see Shawn host another show with four super acts in Declan, Kathy, Paddy and Michael".
