Prosecution at Tullamore District Court
A book of evidence is being prepared in relation to the prosecution of a man who is accused of committing a serious drugs offence in Tullamore.
Tullamore District Court was told by court presenter Sergeant Brendan Kearns the book was not yet ready in the case of Claude Glynn (48), Adams Villas, Tullamore, who is alleged to have possessed a controlled drug at his address on June 15 last.
Mr Glynn is accused of possessing drugs worth €13,000 or more for the purpose of sale or supply to others, contrary to Section 15a of the Misuse of Drugs Act, which carries a possible sentence of 10 years in prison.
Judge Andrew Cody remanded Mr Glynn on continuing bail to appear in court again on January 14 next for the book of evidence.
