Search on for driver who smashed fencing at Offaly tourist spot
A driver doing doughnuts at Lough Boora Discovery Park has caused damage to newly erected fencing over the weekend.
“It's very disappointing to see the destruction that was caused recently to the newly erected fencing at Lough Boora,” Lough Boora Discovery Park posted on social media.
The incident is believed to have taken place late on Friday night, or early on Saturday morning.
“A Toyota Yaris (Mk1) car was doing doughnuts in the carpark and caused this damage,” Lough Boora Discovery Park outlined.
“Could the owner or anyone with information please contact Lough Boora?” they added.
In addition to the damage caused to the fencing, tyre marks are visible in the car park where the driver was skidding and doing doughnuts.
