Midland brothers running a 'Lap for Milford' in memory of late mother

Cloughjordan brothers running a lap of all 72 GAA club pitches in Tipperary
A CLOUGHJORDAN family are running a fundraiser - Run a Lap for Milford - in memory of their mother, Margaret O’Neill, this weekend.
The three brothers, Mark, Paul and Eoin O'Neill, are from Cloughjordan in North Tipperary. Margaret was originally from Dunkerrin, Co. Offaly.
The brothers are supported by their father Michael from Cloughjordan, and members of Kilruane MacDonaghs GAA Club.
Their mother, Margaret O'Neill, passed away from cancer in December 2025 at the age of 54 in Milford Care Centre.
In Milford, the care Margaret received was truly out of this world. She was treated with such dignity, and she was given the opportunity to be comfortable and at peace in her own space, which meant so much to teh family.
Run a Lap for Milford is their way of giving something back for the incredible care given to their mother and so many other families at Milford Care Centre.
The three brothers will take on the challenge of running a lap of every GAA club's main field in Tipperary. That's a total of 72 clubs and it will take place over the weekend of October 23rd to 25th.
They are hoping to raise as much as possible for Milford Care Centre in honour of Margaret.
They would also like to thank everyone so far for their generosity and support since they launched the fundraiser.
If you would like to support them, their donation link is on their Instagram & Facebook @runalapformilford.
A QR code will also be displayed on their posters around Tipperary and surrounding areas.
