‘I'm trying to figure out some health concerns' - Offaly social media star
An Offaly social media star has revealed that he has taken a break from producing content to deal with health issues.
Shane Gallagher has become a viral sensation on TikTok and Instagram, singing in his digger.
Shane, more popularly known as 'The Digger Dad', is originally from Daingean, and now lives in Brisbane, Australia with his wife and their two children.
“I've noticed a few of you reaching out. A few more of you unfollowing etc. I'm trying to figure out some health concerns which I feel are holding me back from being my best self,” he shared on social media.
He added: “I don't want to just pump out half cocked videos”.
The Offaly man added: “I appreciate the patience, support and constant checking in and understand if you've jumped off the train in the meantime.
“We'll be back up and running and fully cocked soon,” he added.
Well-wishes have flooded in for the Daingean man.
“You’re a top man and a good man. The world and social media need more people like you. Get well soon,” one person commented.
Another added: “Mind yourself, Shane! Just like your digger; you can't run on ‘empty,’ either, so, take all the time you need!”.
