More thunderstorms are forecast for most of Ireland today with Met Eireann issuing a Status Yellow Thunderstorm Warning for 20 counties.
The warning has been issued for Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Louth, Meath, Offaly, Westmeath, Cavan, Donegal, Monaghan, Clare, Limerick, Tipperary and all of Connacht.
The warning comes into place at noon and remains in place until 11pm. The warning was issued this morning.
According to Met Eireann, thunderstorms will bring frequent lightning, heavy downpours, gusty winds and a chance of hail.
