A second Offaly shop have responded to the challenge set by Centra in Moate to beat their towering 99 ice cream cone. 

Following the viral video success of David Meares pulling a gigantic 99 cone at the Centra in Moate, they threw down the gauntlet to shops in Offaly and elsewhere to try and beat their extraordinary ice cream tower.

First, Danielle Buckley at the Applegreen on the Main Street in Tullamore hit back for Offaly, and now Robert McKenna at Corrib Oil in Birr has weighed into the argument.

He produced this colossus and even had time to slot a flake into the side of it without it falling over.
